2.16 mi

About time!

I finally got some more exercise in /cue circus music. I was feeling.. well.. just horrible about my 21pt pizza party last night, so I decided it was a good day to try to run. I have been thinking about becoming some sort of variation of a runner for awhile now. There are a lot of ww peeps who didn't exercise who now run. Not even just a little bit, they are out doing 1/2 marathons and what not. I find it all terribly inspiring, but I am still struggling with my laziness lol.

Even though I have recently quit smoking, I still have a smoker's lungs, so it was more of a walk/jog for the first .75 mile followed by walking. I think I could have done more, but I am not near anywhere you can privately jog/run. I need to work on my confidence as much as (if not more than) my fitness & weight.

At the .75 mile mark I had planned to turn around, but realized that I was only a few blocks from the goodwill! I thought this would be a great time to go and get some more measuring cups/spoons. I got lucky and found 1/3c x2 , 1/2c, and a full set of spoons, which was $2.10 with tax. Boo reckons I have plenty of measuring cups / spoons so it was nice to just get some and not hear the snarky remarks, lol. I, on the other hand, have decided that I need many sets of both. I measure to cook, and when I eat. I have found that if they are all dirty (and they were during porkfest '10), I am not likely to wash one or two before I eat. I will just guess, and I am a pretty generous guesser I think, lol.

L- HMOM lentil soup (2), baked tato (2), nana (2)
D- Pork Adobo (6), HMOM lentil soup (2), 1c honeydew *yummy* (1)
s- light cheese stick (2), rice crisps (1)
